Building livable communities means creating places that meet the needs of residents of all ages.
The AARP is helping communities become more age-friendly through their Community Challenge grants.
Funding is available for projects that:
increase civic engagement;
create vibrant public places;
deliver a range of transportation and mobility options;
support the availability of a range of housing; or
demonstrate the tangible value of “Smart Cities”.
Both non-profits and governments are eligible.
