Flooding events are happening more often and becoming more severe across our Middle Tennessee region. The region’s land use patterns and infrastructure affect how these events impact our communities. It is critical that communities ensure that their planning policies, programs, and infrastructure increase their resilience.

  • How can communities better plan to minimize the chance and impact of flooding events?

  • What can communities do to ensure their infrastructure meets their needs?

  • What are the barriers to implementation that communities face?

  • What programs and resources are available to help communities?

These are some of the questions that will be addressed during this online forum.
