Nearly 75% of our region is cost burdened in terms of housing and transportation. Without adequate investment in transit and affordable housing the Nashville region will be left in dire straights in the upcoming decade. Add to this systemic inequity and we are on a downward trajectory unless organizations such as CRT engage in advocacy and planning literacy. The modern environment of partisanship based on selective facts create an imperative for organizations such as CRT to span the narrative gap to ensure the conversation includes empirically sound best practices and strategies.
