Carol Hudler

Carol retired from her role as publisher of The Tennessean and group president of Gannett to pursue a diversified portfolio of business and personal interests. Her firm, Hudler Success Strategies, provides consulting, conference programming, and interim executive placement for media companies. She also helps non-media companies engage consumers and citizens through a variety of approaches and platforms. Carol also serves as a Rule 31 mediator for the Tennessee Courts.

Carol is currently a trustee with the Community Foundation and a member, of the Leadership Middle Tennessee board of directors. Previously, she served on the boards of directors of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Greater Nashville.

Carol and her husband Ad enjoy travel, good books, and good food. Their daughter Haley is an attorney in Atlanta. They have an elderly cat that appears as though he will outlive them. You can find Carol in Percy Warner park, where she goes most days for a walk.
