Dickson County is located directly west of Davidson County, in the western section of the Highland Rim. Dickson County is home to roughly 46,000 people in six incorporated cities: Burns, Dickson, Slayden, Vanleer, White Bluff, and the county seat, Charlotte.

Points of interest in
Dickson County include the oldest in-use county courthouse in Charlotte, the new 110,000 square foot Renaissance Center, and Montgomery Bell State Park.
