Cumberland Region Tomorrow is committed to continue our work to bring people together to address regional challenges and opportunities we face with the growth and development of Middle Tennessee.
Our mission to foster communication, collaboration and action as we help plan for the long-term livability, economic vitality and sustainability of this place we call home will continue as we work with Mayor Dean’s call to action for public and private groups to organize “those who care and are willing to stake a claim”.
Effective regional efforts depend upon consensus and collaborative effort among regional leaders like the attendees and supporters of the 2009 Convening the Region Summit. We look forward to our continued work in the region with our many public and private partners to continue the momentum created by the 2009 Summit.
On behalf of all CRT Directors, we commit to continue our regional efforts that will educate, motivate and assist all of us and our ten-county region to advance regional collaboration and regional transit system development as our first shared regional issue and opportunity.
